For many years, we had a dream of owning a property abroad. We searched for the perfect place that offered a balance of remote relaxation and plenty of family activities to keep everyone entertained.

A close family friend suggested a beautiful house that was in need of loving restoration in a small village in Tuscany.

When we visited, the house had no electricity or plumbing, and the garden was completely overgrown. However, as I sat on the front step, still warm from the summer sunshine, and looked out over the Appennino mountains, I felt an immediate sense of calm. It was at that moment we were convinced to make our dream of owning a property in Italy a reality.

With the assistance of our family friends, we navigated the purchase process in 2021 and finally began the renovation work in January 2022.
