House

The house has high-speed WiFi, which is boosted in the garden of the property. It also features a Smart TV.

The property is located in the village of Casatico, down a rustic lane, without any immediate neighbours, giving you perfect peace and quiet. The nearest amenities, such as wine bars, coffee shops, a pharmacy, supermarket, pizzeria, delicatessen, and bakery, can be found in the village of Camporgiano, which is a 5-minute drive from the house. The local village hosts many evening events throughout the summer.

Sleep

The property can accommodate 10 people and consists of 2 king-size beds and 6 single beds.

Dining

The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen, and the table seats 10 people, with two highchairs available. The kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven, large fridge/freezer, and wine cooler.

Outside, there is an alfresco dining area under the pagoda, providing the perfect location to enjoy the view while having antipasti.

We recommend having at least one evening to enjoy dinner at the house, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the concept of “dolce far niente” – which means the sweetness of doing nothing.

Garden

The house features a heated, above-ground pool measuring 3m by 5m, which is saltwater filtered.

We have dedicated pool glasses available so that you can enjoy an Aperol spritz and take in the view while cooling off.

Additionally, there is a spacious sunken snug area within the garden, providing another social area.

Local area

The property is nestled in an area of natural beauty. It’s not uncommon to see deer roaming in the garden, along with a plethora of other wildlife during your visit.

Within a 20-minute drive from Casatico, you have access to three beautiful lakes that are ideal locations for wild swimming and paddleboarding. Details and locations will be provided in the welcome pack.

There are plenty of hiking trails and walking routes, as well as great opportunities for mountain biking. If you’re looking for a more adventure-packed holiday, we can recommend a local company.

Upon booking, we will send you an email that details all the fun things to do in the local area as well as slightly further afield. We can recommend local restaurants that our family has enjoyed, as well as a wonderful wine bar and vineyard that is just a 5-minute drive from the house.

We are located a 1-hour drive from Pisa Airport, so we recommend making a quick stop to visit the leaning tower of Pisa before heading to the house.
